This week we had a visit from a real, live veteran! Mr. Kratochvil's son Jeff came in to visit us with his wife and daughter. He just got back from the war in Afghanistan. We had drawn pictures for him on Veteran's Day, so we gave him the pictures and showed him the iMovie we made. He also let us ask some questions about being a soldier. Then we took a picture with a real American hero!
We have also been talking about the qualities of famous Americans. They are: brave, generous, fair, friendly, helpful, giving, heroic, smart, special, independent, and unique. Above, there is a link to a song that talks about the qualities that we have, too! Listen to it if you want!
